After putting a book out into the world, it’s easy for me to get stuck in a swirl about whether anything is coming of it, 3 years after publication. So, getting some encouragement about its impact is Christmas magic!
First (HUGE lift in spirits!), Christian workers in the Ukraine have fallen in love with Restore My Soul and are finding it to be truly life-giving and helpful to them with wartime fatigue and the discouragement that they are facing. When I wrote this book, I did not have people in a war-torn country in my mind. To think that my book is helpful to them blows my mind and swells my heart. I’m humbled and so deeply moved by this news.
Second, I recently read the Amazon reviews for Restore My Soul and saw some things:
