So, it’s election week.
Is anyone out there feeling anxious? Hopeless? Afraid?
We are all challenged to hold steady in such frayed and tumultuous days like these. This prayer is an old favorite of mine that I feel is fitting and helpful for steadying our internal storms.
A Prayer by St. Teresa of Avila
Let nothing disturb you,
Nothing frighten you;
All things are passing;
God never changes;
Patient endurance attains all things.
Whoever possesses God is wanting in nothing;
God alone suffices.
What is helping you stay steady through this election week?

I had been so anxious about this election I became physically sick. Then several friends reminded me that God controls who will run our land and it will be no surprise to him. Bill Gaither write a song years ago that said , because he lives I can face tomorrow. Amen.
The election in itself has caused no anxiety,however the week of has came to an end after a manic Monday,a tumultuous Tuesday, a weird Wednesday, a thankful Thursday and finally Friday with the fruits of lessons learned through bitter and sweet lessons.
My gratitude,which your words have helped instill an new mindset is….. Ineffable.
