I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and a certified spiritual director. I have two great loves; couples counseling and Enneagram work. When the two can come together, I am at my best. My practice is comprised of both couples and individuals who see me for therapy, Enneagram coaching, and spiritual direction.
I have two master?s degrees, a Master of Science in Pastoral Counseling (Loyola University) and a Master of Divinity (Howard University). I have specialized training in a number of areas: I am a certified teacher in the Enneagram Spectrum Method, I have completed advanced training in the Developmental Model for couples counseling, I’m certified in Brain-Spotting, and I’ve done Emotionally Focused Therapy training for couples, Discernment Counseling training for couples, Prepare-Enrich pre-marital certification. I have also trained with masters in the field of counseling for generalized anxiety, panic disorder and OCD.
In addition to being a therapist and spiritual director, I also train, speak and teach at conferences and workshops for local non-profits, businesses, ministry teams and community groups. Currently, I offer workshops on the following topics: Marriage Strengthening, Self-Care, Introduction to the Enneagram, the Enneagram and Spiritual Development, and the Enneagram and teams. I write a blog and have a book coming out in the fall of 2022, Restore My Soul: Reimagining Self-Care for a Sustainable Life.
I will celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary in 2022 and I have two young adult children, two Springer Spaniels, and a cat named Zelda. Duffy (pictured here) is my partner in my work, comforting countless clients as they address their personal work.
